Bowles Rice Announces Eleven Newly Elected Partners

Charleston, West Virginia – Bowles Rice has elected 11 new equity and non-equity partners, effective January 1, 2019.  The selections were approved at the firm’s annual partners meeting on Friday, December 14, 2018.

New equity partners include attorneys:

  • W. Taylor Frankovitch, whose practice includes the areas of energy, commercial law, real estate and litigation. Frankovitch works from the firm’s Southpointe, Pennsylvania office. 
  • Steven R. Hall, who focuses his practice on oil and gas, energy and real estate law. Hall works from the firm’s Morgantown, West Virginia office.
  • John “Chuck” Hudson, who works from the firm’s office in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Hudson focuses his practice on energy law, oil and gas and real estate law.
  • Eric H. London, whose practice includes business law, commercial law, real estate law and estate planning. London works from the firm’s Morgantown, West Virginia office.
  • Tyler Mayhew, who works from the firm’s Martinsburg, West Virginia office. Mayhew concentrates his practice on labor and employment law, commercial litigation and appellate litigation.

New non-equity partners include attorneys:

  • Scott E. Barnette, who focuses his practice on energy law, construction law and real estate development. Barnette works from the firm’s Charleston, West Virginia office.
  • Kayla A. Cook, who practices from the firm’s Morgantown, West Virginia office. Cook concentrates her work in energy and real estate law, as well as labor and employment law.
  • Roger G. Hanshaw, whose practice includes the areas of environmental and regulatory law, natural resources and corporate governance. Hanshaw works from the firm’s Charleston, West Virginia office.
  • Ryan J. Kent, who focuses his work on energy law, oil and gas and real estate law. Kent practices from the firm’s office in Parkersburg, West Virginia.
  • Peter G. Markham, who focuses his practice on civil litigation and appeals, government relations, health care and corporate governance. The leader of the firm’s broadband practice group, Markham practices from the firm’s Charleston, West Virginia office.
  • Thompson R. Pearcy, who practices from the firm’s Charleston, West Virginia office. Pearcy concentrates his work on commercial and financial law, municipal bonds and public finance, corporate governance and general regulatory and compliance matters.
