Bowles Rice Named “West Virginia Firm of the Year” for Fifth Consecutive Year

April 7, 2021

Charleston, West Virginia – For the fifth time in as many years, Benchmark Litigation has named Bowles Rice its “West Virginia Firm of the Year.”

“To be recognized for five years in a row as West Virginia’s top litigation firm is testament to the value we deliver through effective and extensive litigation services,” said Stuart McMillan, Chairman of the Bowles Rice Litigation Department.  “Despite the enormous challenges presented by COVID-19, our experienced team of litigators were able to maintain an aggressive, results-driven approach to safely and effectively serve our clients throughout West Virginia and across the country.”

Benchmark Litigation publishes the definitive guide to America’s litigation firms and attorneys, the only publication to focus exclusively on the litigation and disputes market in North America.  Through extensive peer review-based research, submission review and casework, Benchmark also recognizes Bowles Rice for its Dispute Resolution and Labor and Employment capabilities, and has named five firm attorneys – Stuart McMillan, Ronda Harvey, Mark Adkins, Ken Webb and Gerard Stowers – as Local Litigation Stars.

“From our newest associates to our most seasoned partners, the members of our litigation team do outstanding work for all our clients.  I am thrilled that they are once again receiving national recognition as the best in West Virginia,” said Tom Heywood, Bowles Rice’s Managing Partner.  “We are honored to accept this award from Benchmark Litigation for the fifth consecutive year.”
