Attorney John C. Hudson named to Leadership West Virginia Class of 2015

Chuck HudsonAttorney John C. Hudson, of the regional law firm Bowles Rice LLP, was recently selected to the Leadership West Virginia Class of 2015.

Mr. Hudson is an associate in the firm's Parkersburg office, focusing his practice on energy law, oil and gas law, and real estate law, with experience in insurance, business, and construction litigation practice. He was nominated in late 2014 and selected to participate in the statewide education and leadership development program, now in its 24th year.

Leadership West Virginia consists of an eight-month program that "works to develop and motivate a cross-section of leaders who will use their talents and abilities to inspire others and to foster a new spirit of energy, enthusiasm and vitality throughout the state," according to the organization.

Members of this year's class will travel throughout West Virginia to different communities to receive broad-based education on critical topics and, at the same time, have opportunities to hone their leadership skills.

Mr. Hudson is a former president of the Wood County Bar Association.

He earned his law degree from the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law, in 2010, where he was president of the American Constitutional Society. He earned his bachelor of arts degree in international political economy from Fordham University in 2005.
