Aaron Boone and Roger Hanshaw Named 2026 West Virginia Bar Foundation Fellows

Charleston, W.Va. — Bowles Rice LLP is pleased to announce that attorneys Aaron Boone and Roger Hanshaw have been selected as 2026 Fellows of the West Virginia Bar Foundation, an honor recognizing lawyers who have demonstrated outstanding dedication to their communities and exemplary service to the legal profession.

The West Virginia Bar Foundation Fellows program recognizes a select group of judges and attorneys whose professional, public, and private careers reflect integrity, leadership, and a deep commitment to the welfare of their communities. Fellows are chosen to reflect the diverse nature of the legal profession across the state.

Boone and Hanshaw were formally recognized at the West Virginia Bar Foundation Fellows Dinner held on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at the Four Points Sheraton Hotel in Charleston. Joining them for the celebration were their wives, Shannon Boone and Kirsten Hanshaw, along with colleagues Steve Hardman, Jim Kelsh, Gabe Wohl, and Patrick Timony.

Selection as a Fellow of the West Virginia Bar Foundation is a significant professional honor, reserved for those who demonstrate not only legal excellence but also meaningful contributions to society and the profession. Aaron and Roger join more than a dozen Bowles Rice attorneys who have been recognized as Fellows since 2020.
