Charles F. "Chazz" Printz, Jr. focuses his practice on civil litigation, and over his career of more than 35 years, he has tried more than 80 jury trials to verdict and argued more than 40 appeals before the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia and the Fourth Circuit, United States Court of Appeals. 

His practice includes all aspects of civil litigation, including business litigation, commercial disputes, financial services, employer liability, employment law, condemnation, wrongful death/personal injury and Title IX investigation and litigation.

Chazz previously served as president of the Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia from 2014-2015, and currently serves on the association’s Employment Law and Business Law Committees. He was a member of the Board of Governors from 2005 to 2016. In 2015, he was awarded the Defense Trial Counsel's Exceptional Performance Citation.

Chazz is a permanent member of the Fourth Circuit Judicial Conference, and serves on the Law and Medicine Committee of the West Virginia State Bar. He also is a member of the Defense Research Institute and its Commercial Litigation Committee, as well as the National Association of College and University Attorneys.
