In episode two, we hear from West Virginia State Senator Patricia Puertas Rucker (R - Jefferson, 16), who serves as Chair of the West Virginia Senate's Committee on Education and Co-Chair of the Interim Committee on Education Accountability.  Senator Rucker was first elected in 2017 and is the first Hispanic woman to represent the state's Eastern Panhandle.  She worked as a teacher prior to running for office.
