Bowles Rice has long been a partner with Habitat for Humanity, the nonprofit organization that helps families build and improve places to call home. The organization's mission statement says it best:

Recently, several folks from our Charleston office participated in a build for Habitat for Humanity of Kanawha & Putnam Counties. BowlesCares volunteers included attorneys Mark Adkins, Kendra Amick, Lindsay Gainer, Corey Bonasso, and Grayson O’Saile
Attorney Alison Cox, who practices from the firm's Martinsburg office, is involved in many community organizations. "Part of my impetus for taking a position at Bowles Rice was the encouragement the firm gave for me to engage in community service to build my practice and assist the firm with client development," said Alison. One of the organizations she is currently involved in is Hospice of the Panhandle, where she serves as a member of the Board of Directors.
