Bowles Rice Announces Southpointe Office Relocation

October 20, 2014

Regional law firm Bowles Rice LLP today announced the relocation and expansion of its Southpointe, Pennsylvania office to the new Southpointe Town Center.

The move was necessitated by significant growth the firm has realized since opening a Pennsylvania office in 2012, said Managing Partner Thomas A. Heywood.

"We have outgrown our previous Southpointe office, and we continue to grow," Mr. Heywood said. "These are exciting times at Bowles Rice.  With this relocation, we are exceedingly well-positioned to serve our clients throughout this region in the years ahead. We also are looking forward to becoming even more actively involved in the vitality of the area's civic and community organizations."

The Southpointe Business Park is located in Washington County, Pennsylvania, in the heart of the Marcellus Shale and less than 20 minutes from the Pittsburgh International Airport.  Washington County has become known as the "Energy Capital of the East" and is home to more than 50 energy companies.   A surge from developers and producers in the natural gas industry has led to $200 million in recent investments and job growth.

The new Bowles Rice office is less than a quarter-mile from its previous Southpointe location. The Southpointe Town Center area features offices, retail shops, restaurants, hotels and apartments, and it is conveniently located less than 20 minutes from the Pittsburgh International Airport and the Pittsburgh Business Corridor.

Bowles Rice is a full-service law firm with 150 attorneys serving clients from eight regional offices located in Southpointe, Pennsylvania; Charleston, Martinsburg, Morgantown, Moundsville and Parkersburg, West Virginia; Lexington, Kentucky; and Winchester, Virginia.
