Elizabeth Stern

Elizabeth Stern is an associate attorney in our Southpointe, Pennsylvania office. She is a member of the Business and Corporate practice group. Before joining as an associate, Elizabeth worked as a summer intern at Bowles Rice researching energy law issues, drafting memos, and participating in alternative dispute resolution meetings. She also worked in Ohio County, West Virginia, gaining experience in criminal trials and appeals while conducting administrative work in support of the Prosecutor's Office.

Elizabeth obtained her law degree from the Duquesne University Thomas R. Kline School of Law, where she was an active member of her student body. Elizabeth served as Vice President of the Appellate Moot Court Advocacy Competition team, where in 2026 she and her team won first place at the National Appellate Advocacy Competition. Additionally, she was a member of the Women’s Law Association and Editor of JOULE, the Environmental Law Journal at Duquesne. 

Elizabeth also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Political Science with a minor in Leadership Studies from Marietta College, where she was a member of multiple National Honor Societies.
