Bowles Rice Ranks Among The National Law Journal’s “NLJ 350”

June 10, 2013

Bowles Rice is a new entrant in this year's edition of the NLJ 350, The National Law Journal's annual survey of the nation's biggest law firms by number of lawyers.

Bowles Rice enters the rankings at No. 319, based on 128 attorneys. Since that data was collected by the publication, the firm has grown to 135 lawyers.

"The energy boom in the Appalachian Basin is fueling our growth," said Thomas Heywood, managing partner. "We're doing blue-chip work for blue-chip clients. In addition to adding two new offices in 2012, we welcomed our largest-ever class of new associates to the firm in September, and made strategic decisions to hire several outstanding, experienced attorneys, all to meet the needs of our clients."

The National Law Journal is a national publication, produced by American Lawyer Media, that provides timely legal information about legislative issues and legal news from the business and private sectors.

Bowles Rice is a full-service, regional law firm, with eight offices, located in Charleston, Martinsburg, Morgantown, Moundsville and Parkersburg, West Virginia; Southpointe, Pennsylvania; Lexington, Kentucky; and Winchester, Virginia.
