David DeJarnett honored as University Healthcare Foundation’s Distinguished Volunteer at National Philanthropy Day celebration

Winchester, Virginia – Bowles Rice attorney Dave DeJarnett was among those honored as the University Healthcare Foundation’s Distinguished Volunteer at a National Philanthropy Day celebration luncheon on Friday, November 17.  The event was hosted by the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Virginia, Tri-State Chapter, at Millwood Station in Winchester, Virginia.

National Philanthropy Day, or NPD, celebrates the charitable work that everyone does to make a difference and create impact in their communities. DeJarnett was awarded a commemorative medallion and a congratulatory certificate from the AFP chapter president.

Among those celebrating DeJarnett’s recognition and attending the National Philanthropy Day luncheon were his friends and Bowles Rice colleagues in the Martinsburg office:  Mike Caryl, Alison Cox, Amy Lamp Leonard, Steve Mathias, Chazz Printz, Tracey Rohrbaugh and Kin Sayre, as well as Curtis Power from the Winchester office.
