Bowles Rice Welcomes New Attorney to Morgantown Office

Charleston, West Virginia – Bowles Rice is pleased to welcome attorney Alexandria M. Beto to the firm’s Morgantown, West Virginia office.  She focuses her practice in the areas of commercial real estate, business and corporate matters and intellectual property issues.

Beto’s experience includes drafting and reviewing commercial real estate contracts; drafting and reviewing business loan agreements; company formation and business planning; and intellectual property licensing matters involving trademark and copyright registration.

She is a 2018 graduate of the Emory University School of Law.  During her legal studies, Beto served in a variety of intern/extern roles, including work with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, where she researched and drafted legal memoranda related to trademark, employment and public health issues.  She also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Joseph R. Goodwin of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia.

Beto earned her bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, in journalism from West Virginia University in 2015, where she was named an Outstanding Senior in Public Relations and a member of the Kappa Tau Alpha honor society.
