Paycheck Protection Program FAQs |
Established as part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act), the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) is a new addition to the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) 7(a) Loan Program designed to provide economic relief to small businesses that have been adversely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Implementation of the PPP brings with it many questions.
Working with the Department of the Treasury, the SBA has created an online “Frequently Asked Questions” (FAQs) document to address borrower and lender questions related to the PPP. The document will be updated on a regular basis.
