The Small Business Development Team (SBDT) was formed by attorneys with specific training and experience essential to the success of small businesses. We understand the legal needs of the small business owner, and attorneys believe careful planning can prevent future costly legal expenses.
In an effort to provide every small business with affordable legal experience, the following fixed fees are available to qualifying small businesses with simple business structures and simple legal issues. More complex business structures or complex legal issues will be charged additional fees, which will be estimated at the initial consultation and prior to the commencement of any work.
This fee schedule represents the fees charged for typical matters. More complex matters, or those services that require other than the routine amount of time may not be available at these rates. Governmental fees and other out-of-pocket expenses such as recording fees, copying, mileage and long distance telephone charges will be additional charges to the fixed fees listed, and all fees are subject to change prior to engagement without notice.
The SBDT understands the concern many small businesses have about expensive legal fees. These fixed fees were designed so that qualifying small businesses could afford legal advice when it is needed most. In addition to these fixed fees, the SBDT also offers a free 1/2 hour consultation, and written estimates for more complex issues.
