Bowles Rice Partner Mark Dellinger Receives Gubernatorial Appointment to West Virginia State Personnel Board
Mark Dellinger, a partner at Bowles Rice and leader of the firm’s Labor and Employment Practice Group, has been appointed by Governor Earl Ray Tomblin to serve as a member of the West Virginia State Personnel Board. As part of the state’s system of personnel administration, the board is authorized by law to propose rules, interpret laws, and authorize and conduct studies, inquiries, investigations and hearings.
He concentrates his practice in the areas of labor and employment law, and litigation. He has been recognized for his work in those fields by The Best Lawyers in America ®, Chambers USA and Super Lawyers. He also has earned an AV peer-review rating by Martindale-Hubbell.
Dellinger's representation of private and public sector employers encompasses preventative counseling, employment litigation and traditional labor relations matters. He has successfully tried numerous cases to verdict including claims of wrongful discharge, retaliation and discrimination.
