Patrick Clark Joins Bowles Rice in Charleston Office

Patrick E. Clark has joined the law firm of Bowles Rice McDavid Graff & Love LLP as Special Counsel, and will be based in the firm’s Charleston, West Virginia office.  According to Thomas A. Heywood, managing partner of Bowles Rice, “We at Bowles Rice are delighted to have Pat join our firm.  He is an outstanding attorney, and his experience and unique skill set will be of immense benefit to our clients.”

Pat will focus on the representation and counseling of businesses in a range of industries, including finance and health care, as a member of the firm’s Commercial and Financial Services practice group.  His practice will embrace transactional, regulatory and litigation matters.

Prior to joining Bowles Rice, Pat was a Senior Attorney in Enforcement at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), formerly known as NASD, in Washington, D.C., and before that practiced with Saul Ewing LLP in Baltimore, Maryland.  Pat earned his law degree from the University of Maryland School of Law and received a B.S. from Wake Forest University.

Human Resources Summit.  Bowles Rice attorneys Mark Dellinger and Beth Walker will be presenters at the 2008 Human Resources Summit & Governor’s Safety Conference, September 30 – October 1.  Mr. Dellinger will lead a session titled “Unemployment Compensation Case Management” and Ms. Walker will provide an update on recent developments to the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA).
