Six attorneys recently were elected partners in the law firm of Bowles Rice McDavid Graff & Love LLP, according to Managing Partner, Thomas A. Heywood. - Heather G. Harlan is a graduate of West Virginia University College of Law who practices in the areas of tax, health care, commercial and financial services, banking and small business development. She is located in the firm's Charleston, West Virginia office.
- J. Breckenridge Martin is a graduate of West Virginia University College of Law, who is based in the firm's Parkersburg, West Virginia office. His practice areas include litigation, real estate, tax, commercial and financial services, creditors' rights and bankruptcy and health care.
- Todd C. Myers received his law degree from Northern Kentucky University, Salmon P. Chase College of Law. He practices in the areas of labor and employment, litigation and workers' compensation in the firm's Lexington, Kentucky office.
- Paul E. Parker, III joined Bowles Rice in 2007, having previously served as Vice-President and General Counsel of the Institute for Scientific Research, Inc. and General Counsel for the West Virginia High Technology Consortium. He is a graduate of West Virginia University College of Law and practices in the firm's Morgantown office, in the areas of commercial and financial services, economic development, government relations and litigation.
- Floyd McKinley "Kin" Sayre practices in the firm's Martinsburg office, in the areas of commercial and financial services, government relations, real estate, small business development and tax. He is a Certified Public Accountant, received his law degree from the University of Arkansas and is a former staff attorney with the West Virginia State Tax Department and City Attorney for the City of Beckley, West Virginia.
- C. Seth Wilson is a graduate of West Virginia University College of Law who practices in the firm's Morgantown office in the areas of tax, commercial and financial services and economic development.

Printz Honored as Foundation Fellow
Chazz Printz, a Bowles Rice partner in the Martinsburg office, has been selected as a 2008 West Virginia Bar Foundation Fellow. Lovely Among Nominees for “Hero of the Year”
Bernie Lovely, a Bowles Rice partner in the firm’s Lexington office, was among the nominees honored on April 17 by the Bluegrass Chapter of the American Red Cross for its “Hero of the Year” Award.
McMillan Elected to State Bar Board of Governors
Stuart McMillan, a partner in the Charleston office of Bowles Rice, has been elected to the Board of Governors for the West Virginia State Bar. He will be representing Kanawha County in District 8 for a three-year term. This is his second term on the Board of Governors.
Bowles to Receive Star Award
Nate Bowles, a Bowles Rice partner and a member of the litigation practice group in the Charleston office of Bowles Rice, will receive the 2008 Star Award from Legal Aid of West Virginia during its annual Breakfast with the Stars event on May 1. The award recognizes Nate’s commitment, service and support to LAWV.
