Chincheck Charleston, WV Julie is a member of the board of directors of the Children’s Therapy Clinic, which provides physical, speech and occupational therapies and an autism socialization program to children with special needs. Each organization serves a different population in our community and fills a critical need. There are extensive needs in our community and countless opportunities to serve. It should be easy to find an organization that provides a service that interests you. If you do not know much about the organization that you might like to assist, ask the coordinator to give you background information as to the goals and ideals associated with it. Find out exactly what is needed to insure that the program is right for the skills you possess and the amount of time you have available. Make sure that you know what is expected, then ask yourself if you have the time to commit wholeheartedly to the cause. Being spread too thin will not help anyone. Robert S.
