William T. Fahey III concentrates his practice in the areas of energy, commercial real estate and commercial law. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
For years, Bill has represented regional mineral companies in the acquisition and development of oil and gas interests in Pennsylvania and West Virginia, including title analysis, rendering of certified title opinions and the implementation of curative measures to title defects. He's also managed due diligence projects for national exploration and production companies in the acquisition and disposition of oil and gas assets.
Bill's commercial real estate experience includes the acquisition of residential properties and manufacturing facilities, divestitures and dispositions, large-scale refinancing and commercial and retail leases. He has drafted, reviewed and negotiated a variety of simple and complex legal instruments, including partnership agreements, operating agreements and shareholder agreements; general commercial agreements such as assignment and assumption, license, confidentiality, guaranty and noncompetition and nondisclosure agreements; and restrictive covenants and reciprocal easement agreements for the development of multi-parcel developments.
