Heather R. Bates focuses her practice in the areas of oil and gas law, certified title opinions and related real estate matters. A member of the Bowles Rice Energy Team, she works from the firm’s Morgantown, West Virginia office.
A practicing attorney since 2008, Heather’s experience includes the preparation, examination and review of mineral and surface title opinions; title abstractions and due diligence; representation of commercial real estate developers in land acquisitions, contract negotiations and tax sale issues; and conducting closings and title exams.
She earned her law degree from the West Virginia University College of Law.
