Welcome to the law firm of Bowles Rice McDavid Graff & Love LLP.  We are a professional service organization, contributing to the success of our clients and vitality of our communities through advocacy, counsel, leadership and service.

Our firm was founded in Charleston, West Virginia in 1920 by three lawyers engaged in the general practice of law.  Through success, expansion and merger, we have grown to become a full service, regional law firm, with six offices and 125 attorneys serving clients in West Virginia, Kentucky, Virginia, Ohio and throughout the nation.

We are committed to quality, excellence and professionalism in all that we do.  Our firm has consistently earned the highest peer review ranking from Martindale-Hubbell, long considered the authoritative resource on the legal profession.  Chambers and Partners, another well-respected peer ranking organization, notes Bowles Rice’s “high level of expertise” and “really excellent lawyers” in the 2007 edition of Chambers USA.  Thirty Bowles Rice attorneys are ranked among the “Best Lawyers in America 2007” by publishers Woodward & White.
